Policies regarding customs, semi-customs, and YYMN:
-- Order arrangements must be made within 48 hours. The process does not have to be completed within that time, however the discussion of details must begin within this time frame.
-- While I try to maintain updates via my customs page as well as emails, I try to focus on the knitting. I do occasionally send progress pictures, however these are not guaranteed.
-- If you request no pooling, I will try my best to minimize the effects. Non pooling is not guaranteed. Needle size, gauge, garment size, and the way the yarn was dyed are some of the factors that can contribute to pooling. I also do not guarantee patterning for similar reasons.
-- I work on multiple orders at once. For this reason I give wide time frames for completion. Time frames are given at the start of your order and begin from the time I receive your yarn.
-- All garments are hand washed with non-scented wool wash.
-- You will be invoiced for the balance due on your order when your order is ready to ship. At this time I will also send a final picture of your finished item(s). If you do not want a final picture, please let me know ahead of time.
-- All orders are shipped via First Class Mail. Priority upgrade is available upon request. Insurance is not included, but can also be added.
-- Should communication cease at any point during the custom process, your order will be placed on hold until communication resumes.
-- I try to answer all questions and emails within 48 hours. However, my family comes first and sometimes I may be unreachable. Should this happen, I will try to either inform you personally or post on my website that I am away from the computer. I also do not work on weekends (please see my business hours in the about me section.)
